Turck RU40U-M18E-2UP8X2T-H1151 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU40U series, featuring a 9° sonic cone adjustable TEACH button in a diffuse mode for front sensing. This sensor is designed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made from PET, PU, and Epoxy, ensuring durability and compatibility with various environments. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh conditions. The M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel shape is designed for versatile mounting options. It features two digital outputs (10.8-30Vdc; PNP) and offers a sensing distance of 25-400mm. With a current consumption of 50mA at no-load and a maximum switching frequency of 10.4Hz, this sensor is efficient in operation. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity, enhancing its durability. The operating mode is programmable for NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) configurations. The thread size is M18, and it operates at a transmission frequency of 300kHz / 0.3 MHz, with a measurement accuracy (resolution) of 0.5mm and a control circuit rated current of 50mA / 0.05 A.
