RU40L-M18MS-UN8X2-H1151 Description
Turck RU40L-M18MS-UN8X2-H1151 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU40L series, designed with a 9° sonic cone in retro-reflective mode for side sensing. This sensor features TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It boasts an IP67 degree of protection, indicating its dust and water resistance. The shape of the sensor is an M18 partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (15-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The sensing distance ranges from 25-400mm, with a no-load current consumption of 50mA. It has a maximum switching frequency of 5.2Hz, and offers protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The operating mode can be programmed to either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). The thread size is M18, and it operates at a transmission frequency of 300kHz / 0.3 MHz, with a control circuit rated current of 50mA / 0.05 A.
