Turck RU40U-EM18E-LIU2PN8X2T-H1151/3GD is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU40U series featuring a 9° sonic cone with a safety mounting clip that is ATEX and IECex compliant. It has an adjustable TEACH button for diffuse mode front sensing and offers TEACH-by-wire/button and window mode programmability. The sensor is housed in 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with a sensing face made from PET, PU, and Epoxy. It connects via a pre-equipped 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Designed for ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, it boasts an IP67 degree of protection. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, and it supports IO-Link communication protocol. It features 1 x digital output (15-30Vdc; NPN/PNP), a sensing distance of 25-400mm, and a maximum switching frequency of 10.4Hz. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity, with operating modes that are programmable as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). Additionally, it has 1 x analog output (4-20mA / 0-10Vdc), an M18 thread size, a transmission frequency of 300kHz / 0.3 MHz, a measurement accuracy (resolution) of 0.5mm, and a control circuit rated current of 50mA / 0.05 A.
