RU40L-M18MS-UP8X2-H1151 Description
Turck RU40L-M18MS-UP8X2-H1151 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU40L series, designed with a 9° sonic cone in a retro-reflective mode for side sensing. This sensor features ultrasonic sensor TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and has a partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. The digital output is 1 x digital output (10.8-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), and it has a sensing distance of 25-400mm. The current consumption is 50mA under no-load conditions, and it features a maximum switching frequency of 5.2Hz. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The operating mode can be programmed as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). The transmission frequency is set at 300kHz / 0.3 MHz, with a control circuit rated current of 50mA / 0.05 A.
