RU40L-M18M-UN8X2-H1151 Description
Turck RU40L-M18M-UN8X2-H1151 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU40L series, designed with a 9° sonic cone in retro-reflective mode for front sensing. This sensor features ultrasonic TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of PET, PU, and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection of IP67 and has a partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. The RU40L-M18M-UN8X2-H1151 features one digital output (15-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), a sensing distance of 25-400mm, and a no-load current consumption of 50mA. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 5.2Hz, with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The operating mode is programmable to be either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). The sensor's transmission frequency is 300kHz / 0.3 MHz, and the control circuit is rated at 50mA / 0.05 A.
