NI8-G18SK-AD4X Description
Turck NI8-G18SK-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a short barrel design for easy installation. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for convenient connection. As part of the NI...-G18 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and is designed with an M18 fully threaded barrel shape that includes a right-angle terminal chamber. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is constructed with a chrome-coated brass housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face for durability. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it features 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
