NI8-M18E-AP6X-H1141 Description
Turck NI8-M18E-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features an extended barrel design for enhanced application flexibility. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, making it part of the NI...-M18 series. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage requirement is 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its shape is an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, capable of a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. The sensor's housing is made of chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability. It has a sensing distance of 8mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection, with a current consumption of 15mA (no-load current).
