NI8U-M12-AP6X-0.2-PSG3M Description
Turck NI8U-M12-AP6X-0.2-PSG3M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring the detection of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. It belongs to the NI...-M12 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing in an M12 partially threaded barrel shape. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and provides a sensing distance of 8mm. The operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it includes a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size for mounting is M12.
