NI8-M18-AN6X-H1141 Description
Turck NI8-M18-AN6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. This sensor is part of the NI...-M18 series and features a partially threaded M18 barrel shape. It offers a protection degree of IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance are necessary. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. The housing is made of chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability. It provides a sensing distance of 8mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) for connectivity. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and a current consumption of 15mA under no-load conditions.
