NI8-G12K-AD4X Description
Turck NI8-G12K-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-G12 series and features a short barrel design with an M12 fully threaded shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10 to 65Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and a sensing distance of 8mm. The NI8-G12K-AD4X operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode and includes one digital output capable of handling up to 100mA. Its construction includes a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor also features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
