FCS-M18-AP8X/D041 Description
Turck FCS-M18-AP8X/D041 is a sensor designed for flow monitoring, featuring a nickel-plated brass housing and an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +60°C and can handle medium temperatures from -10°C to +70°C. This sensor has a current consumption of 70mA (0.07A) and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It is equipped with a single digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP) and has a response time of 20-40 seconds during startup and 1-5 seconds during normal operation. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA (0.2 A), and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. Designed for flow rates ranging from 50cm/s to 15m/s in air, it comes pre-wired with a 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads and a G1/4" (1/4" BSPP) threaded male process mounting block. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and can withstand pressures up to 10bar (145psi).
