Turck BI8U-MT18E-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-MT18 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a PTFE-coated brass housing and an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, ensuring durability and resilience. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy integration. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering an IP68 degree of protection against ingress. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The BI8U-MT18E-AP6X-H1141 provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 25mA. Its sensing distance is 8mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
