BI8U-Q10-RP6X2 Description
Turck BI8U-Q10-RP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q10 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 10mm thick rectangular body shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 250Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The BI8U-Q10-RP6X2 includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 8mm. It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
