BI8U-EM18-AP6X-H1141 Description
Turck BI8U-EM18-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor/switch from the BI...-EM18 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing with an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. This model is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz / 1500Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation between -30°C and +85°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
