Turck BI8U-MT18-AN6X-0.5-RS4T/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-MT18 series, featuring a Weldguard coated, embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a PTFE-coated brass material for durability. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 50cm / 20" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. Its M18 partially threaded barrel shape is designed for easy installation, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates at a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. It features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) with a sensing distance of 8mm. Additionally, it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
