SMU31RQDP Description
Banner Engineering SMU31RQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, designed as a through-beam system with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector. The supply voltage ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac nominal) and 24Vdc to 240Vdc (with 48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nominal). It is mounted using an M18 threaded mount and offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (SPDT relay contact), and provides a sensing distance of up to 3m. It operates with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s, with operating modes for both Light-ON and Dark-ON.
