SMU315FQDP Description
Banner Engineering SMU315FQDP is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series. This sensor features a potentiometer adjustment design and is housed in thermoplastic with glass fiber. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector. The supply voltage ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc to 240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape, one digital output (SPDT relay contact), and operates with infrared light at a wavelength of 650 nm. Its response time is 20ms / 0.02 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
