S18-2VPRL-9M Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPRL-9M is a photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode receiver. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and is rated with an IP67 degree of protection. The S18-2VPRL-9M has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), and offers a sensing distance of up to 25m. Its response time is 1.5ms or 0.0015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for this sensor is M18.
