DS18VP6LP Description
Banner Engineering DS18VP6LP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M18 threaded mount and is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and has a sensing distance of up to 3.5 meters. The DS18VP6LP has a fast response time of 2ms / 0.002 s and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for signaling. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor is part of the DS18 series and comes in a rectangular shape. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.).
