QS18EK6DQ5 Description
Banner Engineering QS18EK6DQ5 is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode for versatile applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connection. With a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, it is built to withstand harsh environments. The QS18EK6DQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It supports IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced connectivity and control. The sensing distance is up to 800mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 940 nm. It offers Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, along with 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor), and boasts a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
