S18-2VPLV-Q5 Description

Banner Engineering S18-2VPLV-Q5 is a photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for range. It features a thermoplastic housing, acrylic lens, and a PVC connector. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18-2VPLV-Q5 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and comes in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. It has 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), a sensing distance of 7.5m, and uses visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The response time of this sensor is 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for mounting is M18.
