S18-2VPLP-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPLP-Q8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for signaling. The sensing distance reaches up to 6m, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The response time is quick at 1.5ms or 0.0015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
