S18-2VPLP-9M Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPLP-9M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67. The S18-2VPLP-9M has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor). It offers a sensing distance of up to 6m and uses visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The response time of this sensor is 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
