S18-2VPFF50-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPFF50-Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed with a background suppression system. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens, and it comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 50mm. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and features a quick response time of 1.5ms (0.0015 s).
