S18-2VPDS-9M Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPDS-9M is a photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18-2VPDS-9M offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and comes in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and has a sensing distance of 300mm. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and features a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and has an M18 thread size.
