Banner Engineering S18-2VNLPC-Q5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens with a PVC connector for durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail, terminating in a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18-2VNLPC-Q5 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options. The sensor provides one digital output (NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of up to 6 meters.
