S18-2VNLP-Q5 Description

Banner Engineering S18-2VNLP-Q5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and a PVC connector. It is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. It can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and has an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The S18-2VNLP-Q5 has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M18 thread size. It offers a single digital output (NPN transistor) and can detect objects up to 6m away. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and has a quick response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, providing flexibility for different application needs.
