S18-2VNDL-2M Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VNDL-2M is a photo-electric sensor from the S18-2 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18-2VNDL-2M offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and comes in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. It has one digital output (NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 750mm, and uses visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm. The sensor's response time is 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
