Banner Engineering QS18WE is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 universal voltage series and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy connection. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 20Vac-270Vac (with 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac as nominal values) and 20Vdc-270Vdc (with 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 120Vdc as nominal values), making it versatile for various power supply configurations. The QS18WE boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of up to 20m and utilizes infrared (IR) light for detection.
