QS18VP6XLPQ5 Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6XLPQ5 is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for clear object detection. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a retro-reflective mode potentiometer adjustment and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. Part of the QS18 clear object detection series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The QS18VP6XLPQ5 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It can sense objects up to 3m away, using visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. This sensor supports Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
