QS18VP6XLPQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6XLPQ is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for clear object detection. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is configured in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. Part of the QS18 clear object detection series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. The QS18VP6XLPQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It boasts a sensing distance of up to 3m and emits visible red light at a wavelength of 625 nm. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
