Banner Engineering QS18VP6RQPMA is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component in an opposed mode setup. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring a reliable connection. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The QS18VP6RQPMA operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. With a sensing distance of up to 20 meters, it offers flexibility in sensor placement. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.75ms (0.00075 seconds).
