Banner Engineering QS18VP6LPQPMA is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is constructed in a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing, acrylic lens, and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath for durability. It employs a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for quick connectivity. Part of the QS18 series, it offers a sensing distance of 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. The sensor operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, providing flexibility in application. It features a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s. With a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), it is designed to meet IP67 and NEMA 6 degrees of protection, ensuring operation in various environmental conditions.
