Banner Engineering QS18VP6LPQ is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is built in a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and acrylic lens for durability. This sensor is part of the QS18 series and offers a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring a secure connection. The QS18VP6LPQ is equipped with a visible red light for sensing, with a maximum sensing distance of 3.5m. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for flexible control. The sensor's quick response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s allows for efficient operation, and it is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) to function effectively.
