Banner Engineering QS18VP6LAF250QPMA is an adjustable-field Class 2 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for fine-tuning. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm polyurethane (PUR) cable, terminating in a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy integration into various systems. Part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic body with an acrylic lens. It offers a sensing distance of 50 to 250mm and emits visible red light at a wavelength of 658 nm. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.7ms / 0.0007 s.
