QS18VP6LAF250 Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6LAF250 is an adjustable-field Class 2 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for fine-tuning. This sensor is part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The QS18VP6LAF250 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It offers a sensing distance of 50 to 250mm and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 658 nm. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.7ms / 0.0007 s.
