QS18VP6DVSQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6DVSQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is equipped with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for precise sensitivity control. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connectivity. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability and clear signal transmission. With a sensing distance of 250mm and visible red light for detection, it offers flexible Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Additionally, it features a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and a rapid response time of 0.85ms / 0.00085 s for efficient operation.
