Banner Engineering QS18VP6AF100Q5 is a sensor designed for adjustable-field photo-electric sensing with a background suppression system that includes screw adjustment for precise operation. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +55°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. This model is part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series and offers a sensing distance of 1 to 100mm. It emits visible red light and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and is designed for direct connection through a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is protected against ingress by an IP67 NEMA 6 rated enclosure.
