QS18VN6XLPQ8 Description
Banner Engineering QS18VN6XLPQ8 is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for clear object detection. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. Part of the QS18 clear object detection series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The QS18VN6XLPQ8 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. The sensing distance is up to 3m, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
