QS18VN6XLP Description
Banner Engineering QS18VN6XLP is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for clear object detection. It features an M18 threaded mount and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It belongs to the QS18 clear object detection series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The QS18VN6XLP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), has a rectangular shape, and is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It has a sensing distance of 3m and uses visible red light with a wavelength of 625 nm. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.4ms / 0.0004 s.
