Banner Engineering QS18VN6LVQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is equipped with an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy and quick connectivity. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 6.5 meters and utilizes visible red light for detection. The QS18VN6LVQ supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms (0.0006 seconds).
