Banner Engineering QS18VN6FF100Q7 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed with a background suppression system and an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for straightforward connectivity. Part of the QS18 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is designed for versatile application, and it can detect objects within a 100mm sensing distance using visible red light. The QS18VN6FF100Q7 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.85ms / 0.00085 s.
