Banner Engineering QS18VN6FF100Q5 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed for precision detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system to enhance its detection capabilities. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, facilitating easy integration into various systems. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It has a sensing distance of 100mm and utilizes visible red light for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.85ms / 0.00085 s.
