Banner Engineering QS18VN6FF100-800355 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed for precision detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into various setups. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it has a sensing distance of 100mm. The visible red light aids in alignment and setup, while the operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON for versatile application. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and has a rapid response time of 0.85ms / 0.00085 s, making it suitable for high-speed detection tasks.
