Banner Engineering QS18VN6FF100-79004 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed for precision detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system to enhance its detection capabilities. It comes pre-wired with a 9" / 228mm pigtail that terminates with a 6-pin MLX connector, ensuring easy integration into various systems. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The sensing distance is set at 100mm, and it utilizes visible red light for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile signaling. The response time is notably quick at 0.85ms / 0.00085 s, facilitating rapid detection for automation applications.
