Banner Engineering QS18VN6AF300Q is a sensor with an adjustable-field photo-electric function designed for a variety of applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for precise operation. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, falling under the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in challenging environments. The supply voltage required for operation is between 10Vdc and 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. The QS18VN6AF300Q can detect objects within a sensing distance of 30 to 300mm using visible red light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a quick response time of 2.5ms / 0.0025 s.
