Banner Engineering QS18VN6AF250Q8 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and incorporates a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, aligning with the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it has a sensing distance of 250mm. The sensor emits visible red light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It features a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a quick response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
