Banner Engineering QS18VN6AF250Q is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for versatile sensing applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment, allowing for precise control of the sensing field. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connection. Part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The QS18VN6AF250Q has a sensing distance of 250mm and utilizes visible red light for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile output options.
