QS18VN6AF250 Description
Banner Engineering QS18VN6AF250 is a photo-electric sensor designed for adjustable-field sensing with a background suppression system and potentiometer adjustment. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. It is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy connection. The QS18VN6AF250 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and acrylic lens. It is capable of sensing at a distance of 250mm with visible red light and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a quick response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
