QS18VN6AF120Q Description
Banner Engineering QS18VN6AF120Q is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for versatile sensing applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment, allowing for precise control of the sensing field. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy connection. As part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it has a sensing distance of 120mm. The sensor emits visible red light and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a quick response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
